The Conference Synthesis and Analysis of Drugs takes place in the Czech Republic every year, changing its location. This year it was organized on the basis of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University (Hradec-Kralove, Czech Republic), where the assistant of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Halyna Hryhoriv and the assistant of the Department of Biotechnology Alina Solovyova are undergoing a scientific internship.
On September 19-20, 2024 Halyna Hryhoriv presented a report at the plenary session on the scientific projects of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the NUPh, presented the results of scientific research, and also spoke about the history and present of the NUPh and pharmaceutical education of Ukraine.
At the conference, two posters of NUPh scientists were also presented, namely:
- Synthesis of Fluoroquinolone Hybrids and Their Prospects as New Antimicrobials (Hryhoriv H.V., Kovalenko S.M., Filimonova N.I., Perekhoda L.O., Georgiyants V.A.);
- Polypharmacological Drug-like Molecules from the 2,5-Dimethyl-4-oxo-3,4-dihydrothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxamide Series (Vlasov S.V., Severina H.I., Borysov O.V., Vlasova O.D., Georgiyants V.A., Abu Sharkh A.I.M.).
