From June 25 to 28, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department, Olha Mykhailenko took part in the work of the 8th International Conference on Electrospinning (https://electrospin2024.agh.edu.pl/), which took place on the basis of the Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza im. Stanisława Staszica (AGH University) in Krakow, Poland. The trip took place within the framework of the Global Engagement Funds (GEF) 2023/24 grant (London, the United Kingdom). Together with Mykhailenko Olha participated in the conference accepted by Prof. Gareth Williams from the UCL School of Pharmacy (London, UK). They presented work on the topic “Swift Battlefield First Aid: Rapid-Dissolving Fibers for Acute Wound Care.” In addition, there was a meeting with Prof. Urszula Stachewicz (AGH University, Krakow, Poland) and further cooperation was discussed within the framework of the grants.
