General information

Nataliia Smielova was born on January 8, 1992 in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region.

She became interested in studying chemistry at school, so she decided to get a pharmaceutical education at the National University of Pharmacy, where she became a student in 2009.

During her studies, she participated in the work of scientific clubs of the NUPh departments, in conferences and competitions, as well as in the cultural life of the university, which led to the desire to stay at the Alma Mater.

Since 2014, she continued her studies, first in a scientific master’s program, then in graduate school at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of Chemistry, and since 2016 – in pharmaceutical chemistry. In 2019, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Since January 2019, she has been working as an assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the National University of Pharmacy.

Areas of research:

Development and validation of methods for quality control of active pharmaceutical ingredients of synthetic and natural origin, pharmaceutical and industrial drugs using chemical and instrumental methods of analysis.

Author of 17 articles, 41 abstracts, 1 utility model patent, 18 guidelines.
