Practical skills of students of higher education

Within the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation between the National University of Pharmacy (NUPh) and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU), students of higher education of NUPh had the opportunity to develop practical skills and perform experimental research for the completion of master’s theses at the Department of Analytical and Toxicological Chemistry of the LSMU (Kaunas).
From March 18 to 22, 2024, post-graduate students Viktoriia Hurina, students of higher education OP Pharmacy Tetiana Matus (4th year) and Tetsana Serhiienko (3rd year) developed practical skills in pharmaceutical chemistry, namely, conducting research using UV spectrophotometry, TLC and HPTLC, of high-performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography with MS and FID detectors under the guidance of the teachers of the National University of Pharmacy (Prof. Victoriya Georgiants, Assoc.prof. Olha Mykhailenko) and with the advice of the head of the Department of Analytical and Toxicological Chemistry of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Prof. Liudas Ivanauskas. During the visit, experimental research was carried out, which will be included in master’s and dissertation theses.
